I fall He's always there, I never have to call He makes me laugh when all I want to do is cry And the only time he complains is when I want to go away He's a knight in shining armour as they say He sticks to the valor and the chivalry of his ways A gentlemen like no other, he has a touch that flows within me Not a man like the rest, my true feelings I want him to see. | To not gaze upon thine
eyes the next morn' shall steal away the very soul of my own heart. A tear rolls down my cheek as my eyes begin to blur, for off in the distance a cherished one will soon be lost, to ride away the sunset is a lost art, to drive away my tears is only something the one who makes them can do and it is your parting that makes me cry and I will wait for the day you return, for then will I shed my last tears, for then will I no longer have that longing in my heart to hold you from so far away... becuase you will no longer be away, I will be able to hold you close and kiss you deeply and watch you glow as the Angel you have always been in my eyes. | An idea pops in my head, as I fill my pencil with point seven lead. I shall draw a girl just like me, Who should this girl be? Wondering through time and space, at what speed should she pace? Is she lost, she has no clue, all she knows is the sky, dark blue. She sees a star that shines so bright, and gets a feeling that feels just right. She hears a sound like the pounding of her angel wings, and at that moment she starts to sing. Because that taste on the tip of her tongue, is just as sweet as the morning sun. A dream perhaps a memory, maybe just a place I want to be. I hear my name being called, but I don`t want to return at all. A soft glow surrounds me, as I stare at the night sky oddly. This picture I regard as not so good, but the poem with it.. I guess I could, say is like the Night Angel's song she sings, it has a rhythm, the pounding of her angel wings. To Top |
